Business Analysis

Every new project at Intermedia begins with requirements analysis and a series of conversations with the client to answer the following questions:

• What are the client's requirements and what are their actual needs?
• How does the business currently work and what problems does the project solve?
• What is the business value of the project?
• Can the project not be done at all, and can the problems be solved using the client's existing systems or ready-made systems from external providers?

After creating a clear assessment of the value the project will bring, we proceed to design the minimum viable version of the product that will benefit the client, and start development using Agile methodology.

Project Management

Our project management philosophy consists of three main principles:

1. Partners, not contractors

   We don't work according to client-sent requirements and specifications, but strive to fully understand the client's business in order to offer a pragmatic solution to every problem.

2. Always create value

   Every next version of the product, as well as every change or new functionality, must bring obvious and measurable value to the client.

3. Transparency in relationships

   We give the client access to our project management system and maintain constant communication, so we can always answer the following questions:

   • What tasks are currently being worked on?
   • Who is working on each task and what is the deadline?
   • What is the planned and actually used time for each task?

We use Agile methodology (Scrum or Kanban, depending on the project needs) and Lean Startup principles - short iterations until new releases (we work with weekly sprints), rapid validation of changes, and immediate start of the next iteration.
